i was born atheist.
now--i dont believe anything, just to be on the safe side.
me i slowly came to see religion was a crutch we use to dream of a better "afterlife"....i feel half my life was wasted building an organisation that had no criminal mastermind behind it...just alot of mislead people looking for leadership.
if your still religious explain why..

isnt that where the watchtower got the " elder" idea from ?
do they allow premarital sex ?
purple haze by jimi hendrix.. f**king awesome, gotta say.. enjoy .... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgodayjdfsg .
first off, i have made it real clear with jw's my thoughts on being a jw.
i'm out, there is no coming back.. second, i'm on their " do not call list" .. so why now all of a sudden my mailbox is getting bombed 💣 by their memorial invites and letters?.
don't they follow their do not call list?
i had such a letter recently. Beautiful handwriting..from a lady called Christina. As i tore it up--unread--i pondered how much she spends on postage stamps.
i’d like to marry my best friend of 30+ years, turned ‘secret’ girlfriend of 1 ½ years who is a jehovah’s witness, born into it, baptized and an active ‘pioneer’.
our marriage would happen prior to letting any of her jw friends and cohorts know that we are together.
once married she may simply come forward and ‘admit’ or we may wait until it’s found out – one way or the other, the reason for this marriage is not customary – i am hoping that by doing so she can avoid being ‘marked’ or possibly ‘disfellowshipped’ once our relationship is no longer a secret and due to our already being married at that point, there can be no notion from society elders about her ending the relationship.
Either you are trolling us,
exactly my thoughts yesterday.

seems like the best thing that can happen for her. She will quickly see the truth about "the truth".
hello again Lee--i used to be on here as Bigmac..but had to create a new ID in order to sign in. Its sad how many posters from a few years. back are no longer with us.
i started pioneering in my late teens an remember how slow pioneers would walk to the doors while out in circus.
also, they would not really talk to anybody at all.
they would start their time as soon as they got dressed an out the door, while us regular shucks started our time at the first door we knocked at.
They call it the pioneer crawl around here
aka the pioneer stroll. Although in all fairness whenever i used to see groups of dubs out door knocking they always strolled along at the pace of the slowest
i dont remember ever meeting one that liked door knocking.

Its easy to reach time targets as a pioneer.
All the time spent " witnessing" counts. Knocking doors--standing on the door step if no one home. Travelling to the next call. Sitting in a coffee shop for however long ESPECIALLY if you are reading a watchtower publication--if people can see you doing that--you are witnessing.
Attending meetings..travelling there. Someone could see you doing that--so you are witnessing.
If you have a part time job..do your colleagues know youre a JW ?. They might ask you a question..so just being there you are giving a witness.
Does your job require you to think about it ? So--are you paid to think about your work ?---then why not count your pioneer time if you are only thinking about going preaching.
Get the idea ?
Just think about the surge in pioneer hours reported.
